Pre-treatment instructions

Shave the area (if applicable): If treating the underarms, shave the area 24 hours before your appointment.

Avoid deodorants/antiperspirants: Do not apply any deodorant, lotion, or powder to the area on the day of treatment.

No blood thinners: Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, vitamin E, fish oil, or other blood-thinning agents for 3–5 days prior, unless directed otherwise by your doctor.
Inform your provider if:

You are pregnant or breastfeeding

You have any neuromuscular conditions

You’re on medications such as muscle relaxants or antibiotics

Wear a tank top for your treatment.
Post-treatment instructions

Avoid touching the area for at least 4 hours after treatment.

Do not apply deodorants or antiperspirants for 24 hours post-treatment.

No vigorous activity: Avoid intense exercise or activities that cause heavy sweating for 24 hours.

No hot showers or saunas for 24 hours to minimize irritation.

Mild tenderness or bruising at injection sites is normal and should resolve within a few days.

Results typically begin in 5–7 days, with full effect in 2 weeks, and last 4–6 months.

Follow-up: A touch-up may be needed if sweating persists after 4 weeks—contact your clinic if this occurs.
