Botox Therapeutic

Relief starts here.

Botox isn’t just for aesthetics — it can be a powerful tool in relieving

pain and discomfort caused by conditions like TMJ dysfunction, teeth

grinding, and hyperhidrosis.

What to expect

  • Quick treatment, minimal discomfort

  • Results within days

  • Long-lasting relief (typically 3–6 months)

  • Personalized care based on your symptoms

Conditions we treat

  • TMJ pain and jaw tension

  • Bruxism (teeth grinding)

  • Migraines (when appropriate)

  • Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) — underarms, hands, feet

Pre-treatment instructions

  • Shave the area (if applicable): If treating the underarms, shave the area 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Avoid deodorants/antiperspirants: Do not apply any deodorant, lotion, or powder to the area on the day of treatment.

  • No blood thinners: Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, vitamin E, fish oil, or other blood-thinning agents for 3–5 days prior, unless directed otherwise by your doctor.

Inform your provider if:

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • You have any neuromuscular conditions

  • You’re on medications such as muscle relaxants or antibiotics

  • Wear a tank top for your treatment.

Post-treatment instructions

  • Avoid touching the area for at least 4 hours after treatment.

  • Do not apply deodorants or antiperspirants for 24 hours post-treatment.

  • No vigorous activity: Avoid intense exercise or activities that cause heavy sweating for 24 hours.

  • No hot showers or saunas for 24 hours to minimize irritation.

  • Mild tenderness or bruising at injection sites is normal and should resolve within a few days.

  • Results typically begin in 5–7 days, with full effect in 2 weeks, and last 4–6 months.

  • Follow-up: A touch-up may be needed if sweating persists after 4 weeks—contact your clinic if this occurs.
